Reciprocal Borrowing

As a result of agreements among members of the Texas Panhandle Library System and Harrington Library Consortium, a library card issued at Booker Public Library can be used in numerous libraries around the Texas Panhandle, including the facilities at Amarillo College, Amarillo Technical Center, Clarendon College, Frank Phillips College, and Wayland Baptist University.
Likewise, patrons who hold cards from any member library may check out most items from Booker Public Library

Any Booker Library cardholder in good standing may request a book by Interlibrary Loan (ILL). We request the book from another library, which is then sent here within two weeks, under most circumstances. The patron checks the book out at Booker Library, and returns it to Booker Library.
Thanks to grants from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and donations from the Booker Community and Lipscomb County, Booker Public Library offers high quality technological services. We have public Internet Access at 6 computers (internet policy); each computer allows patrons to access word processing and photo processing programs. Library patrons may check out for home use one of our five laptop computers and one of our three digital cameras. Also, patrons have access to a copy machine, both hot and cold laminating machines, and black and white and color printers. Patrons may also use the Canon poster printer to create their own posters. Booker Library also has available for patron use at the library an LED projector and an elmo projector. These 2 items may only be used for meetings held at the school or library.
